Run by Antonella Berruti and Francesca Pennone, Pinksummer has been created in 2000 with the goal of exploring and presenting the new contemporary art expressions and the artists that better represent its languages.

Pinksummer has always hosted artists that have gained international appreciation and consent for the originality and quality of their production, and it constantly works to bring to the gallery space in Genoa new and interesting exhibitions from valued artists.

Antonella Berruti and Francesca Pennone are proud that works presented at Pinksummer have been often created specifically for the exhibitions at the gallery, and some works has been inspired by the gallery space itself.

Pinksummer activity is not limited to exhibitions hosting and art works trading. Pinksummer has produced some of the works presented and has also participated with logistic support activity.

Moreover, beside it's gallery activity, Pinksummer collaborates with public institutions or private organizations, foundations and companies to plan and produce events and projects that bring contemporary art to the people, out of the institutional spaces of museums and galleries.
